Aww that was so lovely. I like how you chaptered them into glimpses of the evolution of their friendship and relationship. The snow scene was very powerful and done really well.

So sweet. I always wondered why the show didn't go in this direction. It's such a shame that they kept pairing Mac off to women who didn't come close to Stella. I love the one-shot story.

*sighs* I knew I should have been worried about you two teaming up when I read this and it went from flirting to suspense...Lily you are a horrible influence! XD I'm kidding, all of this was wonderful and I hope that you continue with this, using all of the colors of the rainbow! Don't think I didn't notice how much the colors Blue and Green, my favorites, were used in here describing their eyes and how they went from playful to serious in a heartbeat. :)

I can't or won't pick a favorite but the feeling that I got during Realization was from an old fairytale, The Snow Queen. Especially with this part:

"The cold was petrifying and the image of Stella and him sinking down together into the white landscape, snow covering them where they lay, seemed to have seared into Mac's mind...
"No," he muttered fiercely, only half to himself. "We have to... have to keep going."
"Not planning on doing anything else," Stella said dryly and even with his lips almost stiffened to solid, he chuckled.
"We've got to be close to the road," she murmured after a moment and raised her head to look at him, a myriad of sparkling crystals on her hair, her skin almost blue in the snow-light. Again he brushed the flakes off her hair, barely able to feel his fingers, although there was a raw pain starting to gnaw at the exposed skin of his face."

I felt like Stella was Gerta in trying to rescue Mac (Kai) from the Snow Queen's icy grip. Wildly out of place I know, but that is what I saw in this particular passage.

A Cup Of Coffee and Dinner also were delightful in their flirting and the way she will always look after him because we all know he won't do it himself. I love Dinner in how he found the courage to ask her out, not because he was trying to repay her giving him her coffee, but because he wanted to. That there is what I'd love to see more of. :)

As for Broken And Bruised...this is my favorite passage of that:

"I wanted to thank you." She had tossed out the tatty cotton ball, and had reached for another one, continuing the curative process. Mac lifted his gaze to hers, perplexity written all over his features.
She smiled a little. "For saving me today," she said, as if it was obvious. "If you didn't show up when you did, I—"
"—Stella."
She stopped herself and waited. His head drooped and his mouth opened just enough to take a deep breath before speaking.
"I'd do it all over again." Mac averted his eyes when he felt her unwavering stare and a pink hue colored his cheeks. "In a heartbeat."

Marvelous, just marvelous because his feelings are there for her to see, and you can't ask for more than that. :)

Now for Happily Ever After, what can I say that many have already said before me? Mackenzie and Reed will definitely keep Mac and Stella on their feet as it should be with kids, LOL! You already know my favorite line: "Daddy started it." I have to give the girl credit for doing her best to deflect the blame onto her Daddy. Ah, this is the way family should be, and it warms my heart that Stella and Mac finally have what they have worked so hard to protect, a family of their very own. Excellent ladies, again I do hope for more because you still have Red, Orange, Yellow, Purple, Black, and White to do...there are so MANY possibilities! ;D

Wow, what a fantastic story - I love your beautiful, evocative narrative about Mac and Stella getting together, and how it's all a prelude to becoming a bedtime story for their kids. Absolutely perfect! :D
