We are you, Harry Potter and you are we. One and many, many and one. Sounds what the Borg would say in the Star Trek series. I almost expected to hear "We are Borg and you will be assimilated. Resistance is futile". Excellent story, by the way.

Very enjoyable plot,sufficiently different to cannon to make reading it a pleasure filled with surprises. Strange Wizarding events that deserve explanation are mentioned so a sequal (or two) would be most welcome.

The epilogue felt fairly rushed but I also understand how it can be hard to cram so much content into one chapter like that.

interesting so the dark lord either used a stone turning spell or had Salazars snake take care of the issue. That is an interesting way of handling that one for sure.

so why would there be "several hundred shivering students" as per your earlier reasoning if only say 20 or so was in Harry's year 20 x 7 is only 140 I couldn't imagine more than 200-225 honestly for all years. That's before the earlier deductions from those who stayed.

So kind of a silly inquiry and I mean he is first year so I guess he just didn't realize it from the thousand herbs text/study Snape is doing.

But the snakeskin he dumped out the window, would that had been some rare specimen? What if somebody found that skin?

You know something that gets me also is why doesn't Harry just question Dumbledore if he saw the part in his mind about the telepathy conversation?

I almost feel bad for Hagrid...almost. It's interesting you made a way for the King of all snakes to be born. Love the concept and it in a strange way makes sense. Makes you wonder why more snakes never became King of all snakes.

Thank you for a wonderfully real "Harry" trying to come to terms with, to understand his new circumstances. Your well written characters tickle my curiosity as to how they will react to the world around them. I hope you enjoy writing this as much as I enjoy reading it.
