Well, as you have have been writing this for about 7 years, I can srill hope you would finish it one day ;-)
Even with all the RL stuff and your family and this blasted coronavirus (sorry, I don't think you want to see this word here, too and I totally understand; I am a journalist, you see, and it is the only thing that seems to _happen_ these days).
Anyway, thank you for this chance to escape for a while. I stumbled upon the film by chance yesterday and I decides to check out some fanfics. I remember when it was on in the cinema I watched it like a dozen times and even translated the Phantom's aria into Russian ) I have a half-forgotten project myself. I used to translate my favourite Soviet songs into English. You can check up Soviet Karaoke on YouTube) There are actually only 4 or 5 songs and not very well done. Now I see some grammar misgakes and very poor vocabulary. I have translated a few poems since then but neither me nor my brother, who was the big part of the production, so to say, seem to have the time anymore...
Sorry for this rambling and quite self-centered review. Still, be assured that we still need you to finish this out there. Even in Moscow :)) Your fic is on the first page if you decide to choose not by update date but by... I don't remember if it was reviews, favourites or followers, actually. Anyway, it is good :)
I am going to take a page out of your book and not edit this although with me posting it from my phone here are bound to be typos. And other general weirdness stemming from my not being a native speaker and leaning towards learning from books))

I can't believe I never saw this chapter! Well written as always! I think of all the POTO fanfics writers I follow, you write the most eloquently.
I like that you chose to have Christine respond to the unmasking negatively - even if that makes me sound evil for saying that. But in so many other fanfics, Christine or the OC a lot of times tends to treat the deformity like it's a mere cut on his cheek. I don't have an issue with the unmasking going positively, but it's a nice change of pace to sometimes see where Christine or the OC finds the deformity to be rather ugly. I mean, in all honesty it would be shocking for her to see, regardless of how severe the deformity is. I think it's realistic for her to feel as conflicted as she does. And it's of course understandable why Erik would be as hesitant as he was about showing her is deformity. He didn't wanna lose his one chance at love. But I think considering their history together, love will conquer all.

Oh this is by far my favorite Phantom fic i’ve ever read! I felt every emotion along with the characters and could imagine every setting so perfectly! Even though this isnt finished yet, thank you for what you’ve written so far!

You are a brilliant writer. You have really brought me into a different world reading this. I am happily anticipating your next chapter. I know what it's like to be a mother on top of all the other responsibilities so please take your time.

I loved this chapter! The way you described Erik coming down the stairs in the Red Death costume was intense and incredible. That's honestly how I see him as in the musical and movie. Exuding power and danger. Well done!

Wow, I am speechless! I've always been a fan of the movie but seeing the Broadway musical onstage yesterday left me wanting more.. and here I am, incredibly satisfied! Can I just say that I find it hard to believe you don't edit your chapters? You write beautifully! I love your take on the characters and Erik's past. I agree that it's very original and gives him a shot at a normal happy life! I finished all 35 chapters in a day but I am more than willing to wait for the next ones. Please do continue!
