Enjoyed this story. Unlike many Shepard/Liara fans seem to, I don't hate Sam, but your depiction of her as a crazed stalker still really cracked me up.

Ah damn. This story was so fantastic, the emotions perfectly depicted and the plot totally real, giving us an ending the game would have deserved.. but the ending was so rushed it was kind of confusing. For example what did Liara realise in Shepard's head, what was the reason she wasn't waking up? It's a shame, you kept saying you wanted the little blue children, yet we didn't get to see any.. I totally understand you wanted the angst to be over but that doesn't mean the story had to be over too. It would have been really nice to see some happy times, Shepard recovering, starting a life and family with Liara, all of them settling in a normal life. About the people bitching at you.. we should throw those primitives out the airlock. That's all. But I must congratulate you, this story truly was amazing and I got totally lost in it while reading. Wonderful job! :)

I had no idea what this update was till I started reading. Thank you for finishing! I am right there with you regarding ME3, but I was so disappointed that I have had no desire to either even play the game or download the new dlc. Maybe someday I'll check it all out.

It was certainly welcome to see this update this morning. Glad to see you continuing the fic.

I really don't know what the majority of fans want (but I know that forums are certainly not an accurate representation of majority), but I kinda hope Bioware doesn't listen to the forum goers. Just like in everything else, music, literature, movies, the majority of people enjoy complete and utter trash. So... no, thanks, I'll pass on the choices of 'majority'. :P (not to mention, this 'majority' probably could never agree just what they wanted the ending to be like - they just agree on what they hated, because that's easy)

Anyway, ranting aside. :D I don't get why BW couldn't give the option of the super happy ending for those who wanted that choice, like in ME2 opportunity to have everyone survive suicide mission. I'd probably never go the super happy route, but I would want people to have that choice. Like what you've done here with your fanfic. I think it was really good, and I don't see why you shouldn't have had the opportunity to see it in the game, if you really worked hard for it. :)

Well this was just f**king awesome I say. And I have to agree if any of us were to win the lotto what a grand idea. Buy Bioware. Hell ya. I always thought the writers of Halo needed to take over and write a new ME4. It's a game for f**ksake you can bring whoever you want back to life
