I just binge read this and I cannot remember the last time a character death affected me as much as that of Methuselah Jones. I kept holding out hope that he'd come back to life at the last minute. Aahhhh.
Beautifully written, can't wait to read on.

Recently, I’ve been going through a particularly hard time in my life. Too much going on and not enough head space for it. And for some reason a few days ago I remembered your story and how GOOD the plot was I needed a distraction so badly I googled it again. I was just absorbed - straight away - right back into the wizarding world again. Non-dissimilar to when I distracted myself (and I mean over a decade ago) when my parents separated and I read the original books as a means of escapism. There were bits of this story I remembered and bits I didn’t. Bits that still shocked me and bits I saw coming. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t cry. And I’d be lying if I said I didn’t laugh. This story and your writing is just so natural and organic I find it hard to believe some times that I’m reading this on a fan fiction website and not on a piece of paper in a book. In my opinion, even if the base world was already created you’ve gone above and beyond what most stories do in making it your own. You’ve already explored so many new avenues to this universe I can’t help but be overwhelmingly impressed. There are honestly too many points of this story I love it’d be awkward to list them all. I just want to thank you for sticking with a story with such depth. I confess I didn’t finish the second chapter many moons ago when I first attempted to read it , but now I’m more mentally prepared for the no doubt emotional and entertaining onslaught about to befall me. This time I’ll make sure to come back. Every time.

I love the character, really!
