Uh... detached retina? I couldn't get past that. Mostly because my grandma had a detached retina a few years back. And it was fixed by them putting a needle in her eye and making a bubble to press the retina back into place. She sees perfectly fine now. Well aside from macular degeneration and glaucoma but that's a different story. So, huh, basically I'm confused as to how the detached retinas are impossible to fix, and I just can't get past that so I was unable to continue reading... so yeah...

Hello! I have been reading this story for the past week or so, and just finished it. I wanted to tell you its the best blind/Sherlock fic i have read so far :) I'm partially blind myself and I enjoy reading stories like this where the author doesn't portray blindness as the end of the world. So thanks for the amazing story and I'll be reading your sequel :)

Really enjoyed this story. S1/S2 Sherlock is such a different character than what we've seen in the more recent series.
Mycroft was more than a bit of a jerk, as he often is.
I really enjoyed your John, here, vocalizing the sees his and Sherlock's relationship. It's always a struggle for him, and I am so glad you showed him maturing in this respect.

That last line from Sherlock seemed a little more sarcastic than innocent. Great story.

I also like that you made sherlock quite nice to john.
