I suppose the most immediately striking thing about this story is simply that it is ADORABLE. Absolutely adorable. Beyond that, however, it is also quite well-written, if vaguely plotless (which is fine for such a short work). I like the way you portray Raffin and stayed true to Bann's practical personality. Good work! Keep it up :)

This is an absolutely beautiful fic. If you were to continue with this, I would love to read the first part from Bann's perspective; there were definitely a few details that indicated how he felt about Raffin, for example how Raffin tried to avoid his touch suggests Bann was trying to tell him something;)

You're style of writing mirrors cashore's to the point that there is a familiarity in the tone of the story that is essential for a good fic, but you then build on it with your own unique style that I must admit I enjoy more than hers.
This is really very good, please keep writing, this site needs brilliance like yours.
