I do love the premise and the aspiration to make this a mystery, but..
You're using words with too many syllables to make the story flow. The heaviest is likely the second chapter filled with Zack and his memories of that previous life; drop the flowery explanation when a simple "he" is enough. There is way too much passive speech as well, that the moment that your readers' mind takes to digest your wording, the melody of your script is lost.
I'm looking forward to your next chapters, and hoping your narration simplifies.

yay, new update!
Now this story is definitely turning interesting-er than it already is!
I can't wait to see how would all these groupies clash with each other,
I definitely enjoyed the back and forth between Genesis and Angeal.
And can't wait to see when would Tifa actually meet with Cloud and Zack! But I'll be patient and let you decide!

Now pieces are starting to come together, now I really can't wait for when they all clash. It's sure to be a shit storm with everyone wanting something different!

Alright, I'm gonna summarize a little of what I've obtained from this chapter.

So, the Curators are of the Turks, right? Protectors chosen by the Planet itself, ones that assassinate anyone or anything that comes to harm to the Planet. Oh, and Tseng's the leader.

Then it's the Vita, founded by Barret and Aerith. I assume that the rest of the gang consist of the other Avalanche member, perhaps. But I'm not sure yet of their purpose other than to protect Tifa (referring to what Aerith said).

Then we got Angeal and Genesis as the Oculus, and the Omnisciens that are the silver-haired bad guys.

This chapter answered much of my previous questions, but some still remained a mystery, such as, what betrayal had Aerith done to Tifa? What are Cloud and Zack to Tifa, and why aren't they remembering much about Tifa in this lifetime? What is Tifa to the Curators, Vita, Omnisciens and Oculus, really? Some says that she is a kind of monster while some others think otherwise.

Still, good chapter so far. Although Tifa didn't make any appearance, the chapter really revolves around about her.

Gotta read the next chapter! :D

I hope that you'll continue this piece of work as I sincerely think that it got potential to be a good fic. I like the interaction between Reno and Tifa, though there's still some questions yet to be answered. And I will be looking forward to know what happens next in the next chapter.

Interesting plot twist here. I totally didn't see it coming. Was a little confused as to the conversation between Reno and Tifa, but I'm assuming you will clear most of that up in the next few chapters. I did get a sense as to what was sort of going on and I can't wait to see where you take this!

Wow, this is pretty abstract, I can't quite piece together what is happening with the photographs etc, but it's interesting none the less. And I like how you added Reno x Tifa hints into the mix, because they make quite an interesting match.
Hope to see a new update for next chappy, can't wait to figure out what exactly is happening.

I finally understand now that you're writing from Zack's POV. His inner thoughts did seem a bit OOC but you did warn us about that. Anyway, i'm i terested to find out who Tifa is talking to. The planet perhaps? Oh well, waiting for the next one!

Your first chapter seemed a little jumpt, but I assume thats how you wanted to write for Zack's memories/POV. It's a good start, keep up the writing!
