Ok I kinda owe you a huge review for the whole Protege series! I usually avoid slash like the plague..it just doesn't float my boat but.. wow! You write it incredibly well! This is coming from someone who would abandon reading a fic when I get to slash cause most of the time people seem to write it so awkwardly themselves that it just ruins it, certainly not this case though! I have been following your fics for a few months now, believe me when I say yours is the first name keyed into the search bar every day (up to recently I was too technologically inept to "follow" stories). I must say I just love your Legolas. It's about time someone portrayed his as the divine being that he is! Also I love your concept of the Company. Please write a few more fics about them. For that reason Arcane Land is my favorite of the series. I can't believe it's actually over...Please don't let this be the end though! Thank you for everything you have written...and thanks in advance for future ones..?!

Wow great chapter, it's been so long since I've read your story, I've been so busy with school and work. Ilike the fact that Thranduil and Elrond have talked to each other. As I started reading I thought Thranduil was not coming to Lorien, glad he did. I will continue to read your story, but may take time to review, keep it coming.

Okay I don't know how long it has been since I last read this story or what chapter I last reviewed. I was lucky this week that I was able to read this story again. I must say it has been kind of slow, but in a good way. Legolas has been in a battle for his and Arwen's life and some much need rest and pampering from Glorfindel is what he needed. Of course I am glad that The Company is on it's way to Lothlorien to finally see their friend, I do miss them being in the story. I enjoyed the three chapters I read and continue to look forward to the next. Thanks.

Another wonderful chapter from a wonderful writer. I love all of the different groups of people coming to see Legolas, and I love that you added Gondor. I must admit though, my favorite part of this is quickly becoming your paring of "Elladan and Galdithion". I've got the biggest fic-crush on Gladithion and the twins have always been high on my favorite Tolkin character list. Is he a character of your own creation or does he actually exist somewhere in Tolkin folklore, cuz I don't remember him. Either way I think I love him and I might fight Elladan for him... or join them both.
Your timing couldn't have been better either. Since finding your story I think I've read every story on that faerie site that has anything to do with any of the Elvin characters... Yes, I have a problem. I'm not ashamed to admit that. I really like Tolkin fan-fiction. So thank you for introducing me to the site.

Hello wonderful Alpha Ori. I just wanted to thank you for sharing this amazing collection of work with us. I've just spent the last two day's neck deep in your world reading every scrap I could find (on the Tolkin site, mind you I love your stories un-tamed) I think your writing is beautiful and heartfelt, I think your version of Legolas is incredible. He has always been my very favorite of Tolkin's characters.
You write with uncanny detail, present only in the work of true Middle Earth fans and a passion found in only the very best writing. I look forward to reading along with you as you finish this tale of love and sorrow and I eagerly await your next chapter as I now don't know what to do with myself for surly no other story will hold my attention until I know what happens to our brave King next!

Well this will be interesting, can't wait for the next chapter to see Legolas reaction to Elrond's news and Elrond's reaction to Legolas recollection of events. You certainly have a way with chapter endings, it seems like at every chapter end I find myself hitting the next button (even if it’s not there). Great chapter as always

Gah, I am two chapters behind again. Sorry. Yay a happy conclusion for Legolas in the political arena. I am happy Gildor is accepted by his sister and her people again. Uh oh...more trouble, Legolas always seems to find trouble where ever he goes. Hopefully a safe ending for all elves involved (NOT the orcs). Onto the next chapter, love it like always.

I love your recent update, sorry haven't review in a while as I have been busy with school and little time to read. I very curious as to what the decision will be on Legolas with Galadriel accepting him as High King. Interesting, very interesting. I'm sure you will get Arwen and Legolas through this attack maybe with some hurts but not too bad. Keep it coming.

I hope there a solution for Llyn that doesn’t leave her heartbroken, as you left the chapter on a cliffhanger. Have I mentioned how much is dislike cliffhangers. Looking forward to the next chapter of this great story.

So sorry, I have not reviewed this chapter earlier, just got my computer fixed, (memory went bad), took me a while to figure it out. So anyway. Yay, a day of rest after the successful conclusion of the negotiations, well partially. Great a always, a new chapter of your story always makes my day. :)

It is fascinsting to see how you play out the politics of this bold plan, and Elrond's understated part in it. But i like Galadriel's change of mind due to the trust built.
