This is a beautiful, emotional piece that I absolutely enjoyed. Much like most of your writing, it is descriptive, and Azula is very IC. I like her rehabilitation, and I'm quite intrigued by her relationship with both Lin and Toph. Overall, I love this story. It's a new favorite of mine for sure, and I can definitely see this being true in the cannon!

this was stunningly emotional for characters that even collectively hardly express their own emotions - and I had tears in the last Azula & Lin interaction.
and as much as I like to read about interactions between Toph and Azula on more of a friendly basis, this fic surprised me in the believable and seemingly effortless way it portrays a relationship between the two.

This is such an interesting spin on Lin's relation and while it's a little hard for me to believe that Azula was out and about again you made it work. I adore how you kept all the voices of the characters strong and especially Lin and Azula's relationship to each other! It was such an interesting read, different than anything I've read and certainly refreshing. :D Thank you so much for posting!
