Your writing is amazing and i love it only doubt on this chapter is that (and its probably just a personal thing,i dont know) staying true to the core points of Doyle's characters are what makes great fic's ,brilliant.I think this just stepped slightly to far past the line for it was really well writen. :)

This fic. This fic. It has. So many. Feels.

Firstly, I love reading about how their relationship formed after having read the first story, where their relationship was already established. It's almost more interesting to see their development while knowing how it's going to end. And while I was reading the first story, I had assumed that Sebastian started out pretty much loving Jim, but I prefer this version over mine. Forced respect turning into true respect is more realistic. (And it's also great that their relationship started out with the same first words as Sherlock and John's - "Afghanistan or Iraq?". Clever touch.)

Also, there's something unnervingly symbolic about them cuddling while watching a horror movie. That represents their whole bond - the twisted macabre mixed with affection. It creates a sort of fascinating cognitive dissonance in the reader that I've only ever experienced once before (while reading Lolita, actually). You want to be disgusted, but find yourself smiling.

I was wondering how you guys wrote this, since it's a partner fic. Did you work on alternate chapters, or use some other method?

And once again, thank you for writing.
