So I found this story yesterday and really enjoyed what you have wrote so far. I know it has been a while since you have updated and I hope you consider picking it back up again because your storyline and character development is really great. It’s been a fun read that I hope you will finish out someday because of the really great foundation you have put out.

Are you going to update this story.

This is quite good. I really like the deeper look into what a pack mentality might manifest as in humans, and seeing Cordelia caring for her pack is neat. I hope you continue this some day.

when are you planning on updating?

This was a fun fic to come across and read. I really liked the Cordy/Xander bonding. What's really fun is that this Cordy wasn't in the loop to start with, and she was gaining most of her information after being pack. She handled that though rather mixed.

I say mixed because we are just now seeing what happened to the rest. I had thought she had fixed them, and they ran off. Apparently, not. She scared them, and they couldn't accept that she was that scary bad ass so fled.

I liked how Amy found Xander and he had an enjoyable night with Cordy's new pack members. I really like seeing Kyle watch and snort at Xander. Cordy is right. Xander is hers.

Her major problem is she is using the wrong words though. Turning is bad. Turning is what vampires do, and Jessie got Turned. Xander wouldn't really ever want to do process that shares the same name.

Cordy is thinking with her primal more than her human head. She is thinking that Xander belongs because his place in her pack and how she smells him... She doesn't get or is forgetting human mating rituals and also that Xander and her do have a long history.

I actually like little bits of that history unfolding though.
Oddly, Xander's largest hang up will be Willow. He has been protecting Willow from Cordy for years. Cordy might accept Xander, but Willow and Buffy? Nope, not ever going to be asked to join her pack.

I actually like how you are comparing the Slayer to the Primal and them both being rather animalistic.

I don't know if you plan on adding a few more chapters, but I'd love to see Xander gather up Cordy's old pack members and be or act as their Omega.

I'm actually wondering what you've got planned for Willow. Willow/Oz seems like the best bet at the moment. In some respects that could have more odd reactions with Xander than anything.

Willow is wanting Xander to be hers and doesn't want to share in any form. Cordy already knows that Xander is her mate and its only a matter of time.

Xander likes protecting Willow and has a lot of his self identity tied up in that concept. Willow was fleeing as she doesn't want to even think about Xander being with Cordy. The thing is though if Willow turns back up with the new protective boyfriend Oz that would leave Xander a drift.

Xander has a lot of love to give and its his problem that it ends up hearting him with who he decides to share his heart with. Buffy and Willow might like his love in some respects, but don't want it in others. Buffy doesn't want his romantic love and Willow doesn't want his sibling feeling love for her. (She wants that romantic/lust love.)

What I find rather interesting is that Angel isn't really a part of the plot yet. Angel/Buffy is its own little thing that Willow is also pushing. Xander has really met him and hasn't got the bad vibes from him as of yet.

I think another reason that Willow ran was she saw just how Xander was reacting to Cordy. He does like her. It's mainly the entire primal thing that he isn't sure about. Well, he is confused about his own feelings for Cordy as well. It took a long time for that relationship to evolve into a romance.

One thing that I'm mixed on is Xander basically getting socially axed from Willow and Buffy due to Cordy's attention. Cordy merely smiling and approving at his actions has a radical effect on him.

In some respects, I think the pack is better for Xander and his bonding with them will be doing him a world of good. Xander will be wondering since when were all his friends either Pack?

I'm wondering why Buffy decides to keep Xander around for her animalistic reasons? Well breeding stock for Willow... Xander isn't her mate that's for sure.

I can just see the girls playing their own games punishing him and giving him the cold shoulder and all that. The more that they cut him off the more he'd be depressed and spend time with the pack to cope.

The one bit on this fic that I dis like is Cordy calling her pack members losers. Oddly, that's the most hold over of how she really felt about them all.

Interesting chapter, I like the many different POVs approach.

Xander might also be feeling some guilt concerning Jesse. Cordelia was the girl Jesse always wanted, and now his girl is showing interest in Xander. That might be another reason he's resisting joining the Pack and Cordelia. It's not as much of an issue in Season 2 with Jesse dead a year, but early in Season 1 Jesse won't have been dead that long.
