This was amazing! And I think this was an excellent trade off. You don't kill it the dragon...but you get to ride it. I think it balances out very nicely. :)

Great job on this! As a vegan myself, I don't like the idea of killing, and so I'm happy to find a kindred soul in Hiccup.

I like the part about him deciding who should live and die, and how it's the god's job. It was a pretty strong parallel (to me, at least, with the freakish memory for phrasing) to the part in Percy Jackson where the same thought goes through his mind when he decides not to kill Gabe.

Pretty simple morals, and I'm glad you made them attack Hiccup at just the rigtt moment. XD Good job.
