I just spent my afternoon reading this fic and I'm surprised that you only have a handful of follows, faves, and reviews considering how good this story it, plus it being 27 chapters long.

I really liked the story and you do a really good job at effectively keeping the timeline together, especially keeping straight with 'flashback' scenes, such as when you told how Ashley was saved. I enjoyed that whole scenario & your way with how the characters get along & interact with one another, etc. I particularly liked that you brought the Five ac together, especially Nigel and making him an immortal as well.

The only thing I did notice was that you went off canon a bit with your timeline of some events that we saw in the show, saying the incident with Ashley & James was 2007/2008 when it actually occurred in early 2009, and also that you sped up the mass Hollow Earth incident (that we saw in Season 4, not the mid-season 3 encounter) to be in 2009 when it actually occurred in 2011. I'm not sure if this was intentional or an accident.

I want to explain myself a bit about that above. I have to say that I REALLY liked the change in direction that you went with you switching out Helen for your OC Gwen as the one who got sent back in time. I personally myself sometimes wish that canon Helen never got sent back 113 years at all for a multitude of my own reasons, that and her blowing up the OC Sanctuary & building the Underground Sanctuary. I think it would be acceptable to say that in your world, that maybe a sped up timeline was caused by Gwen's presence (that's how she altered the timeline for the most part) rather than it being an author's error. Am I right to assume that? As you did mention something about this being an (in my own words) 'alternate' universe/timeline that was created from the Praxians sending Gwen back (piggybacking off of the activated Calorum (sp?) device) right at the moment that Praxis was destroyed in our canon timeline when Adam & Magnus jumped through the portal. So this story is actually a parallel timeline created from that, which is pretty cool. :)

I also sometimes fantasized that Ashley survived the EM Shield, somehow teleporting into Hollow Earth and meeting up with her grandfather, and then witnessed (but wasn't revealed to) Helen & the gang when they first arrived in HE. Also that she genetically reverted back to the way that she originally was, the only difference being that her inherited teleportation & longevity gifts remained active. So you fulfilled many of my interests there. :)

I also love that you made Telsa a father with an acceptable character other than Helen. I kinda hope that Gwen ends up pregnant again sometime in the future. :)

I used to be an avid sanctuary fanfiction reader. then I switched from show to show; scouring the site for new and amazing fanfiction. I favorited this fic as well as you a while ago and have just now gone through and re - read it. It's still just as amazing if not even more so than when I first read it. The characterization as well as the chemistry between characters, especially nikola and gwen is phenomenal. I feel like I'm actually there watching everything in sequence. When you can actually hear the characters voices and the action scenes...You've got something there. I can't wait for an update or a sequel! looking forward to future chapters and or fics. You are truly talented and don't let anyone tell you otherwise ;)
