Is it weird that I actually cried during this? Well, ok, the tears didn’t actually exit my eyes but STILL, that’s a pretty unbelievable reaction to a story, for me anyway. And I’m pretty sure my nose got runny! I have no idea why I’m sharing this. Anyway.

The panic suits Nightwing more than it should.
It fits well with his character and 99% sure if Young Justice was a legit teenager show we would've gotten a variation of this scene. I feel like there was something there between Nightwing and Artemis, but what I don't know. I'll ship them anyway. XD

Poor Dick :( It was so hard on him, but nobody completely understood, and Wally just left him by himself. Through the entire second season, I just wanted them to have a bonding moment and make up.

Fishsticks, this was a lovely and painful read. While I will say that the conversation between Dick and Artemis was an excellent (albeit highly angsty) character study, I felt it was a little one-sided. Still, I can really imagine this happening. I enjoy these stories that can take place between episodes without disrupting canon. You managed to toe the line between dramatic-and-corny, and heartwrenching.

Amazing, really sad but brilliantly written, it really drew me in, I was almost hoping for an ending (Even though the season isn't over yet) where she comes back just so Dick could breathe again. I was honestly scared that he wouldn't be able to after Gar talked to him :(
