the second that scene happened, my mind was on repeat "therehastobeacure,therehastobeacure,thereHAStobeacure!"

I am still in denial even after seeing the scene. I get the impression that she is going to get her bending back somehow? Or if it was even taken in the first place. A theory I have been toying with is that Amon is merely mind manipulation of sorts that makes a bender's bending inaccessible. It would explain why it appears like a slightly different than Aang's method. I am hoping this is the case at least or something to this affect and her bending isn't gone completely. I continue to hold out hope but it is very slim indeed cause I have little trust Mike and Bryan. I am still trying to wrap my brain around the impossibility that they would take Lin's bending before the reveal who her father is? Is he that irrelavant? Do they even have any intention of naming a father? Ugh nevermind my brain hurts. Oan I think you did a superb job as usual. Lin's sacrifice was beautiful and heartbreaking and you did an excellent job portraying it here. I like how her thoughts is of her mother and she has no regrets dammit I am tearbending now and it is not tears of joy.

Great show, huh? I love how the writer's gave us a hint of a member of Aang's family possibly having a relationship with a Beifong, and then their just like "No, this other lady got him instead whose name you're not even going to remember." Thanks for crushing the hopes of Taang fans another generation down the line, lol.

I am a bit disappointed that the writer's felt the need to do what they did with her though. She was a cool character and they could have done more with her. Her noble act was nice and all but I think they got rid of her bending so soon, and are supposedly going to get rid of Amon at the end of the season too. That would just be criminally stupid. I would rather them have that character get more development and come back for the next season!

I don't know, it seems kind of sloppy that they would get rid of characters this quickly. And Amon is one of Steve Blum's best performances yet. (Look him up if you don't know him, he's pretty much the official voice of Wolverine!).

I don't see how they could just get rid of both characters, so hopefully they'll be smart and just not get rid of them!

You did good. With this piece, I mean. I'm sure Lin was thinking of her mother during that episode - especially when she jumped onto the airship, that was just like what Toph did during Sozin's Comet. You did a great job portraying Lin's thoughts.

I know what you mean it's been a few days and I can't get over it. God it was so sad.
