This is excellent. I just saw one typo: there seems to be a word or two missing in the phrase "all they can do her jerkily shove her". Overall though this is really good, I like how you imagine Lin was thinking as she decided what to say and do in this scene, and how it felt when her bending was cut off.

Definitely the best "reaction to Lin's losing her bending" story I've read. I love the theme of control, and how you tied it in everywhere. Your description of her feelings right before losing it, of how she sees the world, was just really really great. Awesome job!

I've read a lot of versions of this scene, and although this one wasn't as emotional as the others, I think it was really great with describing earthbending and "seeing".

Great job! Lin is absolutely my favourite character and you described this - truly unsettling - moment perfectly. Well done. I loved it.

This is simply beautiful. The way you describe Earthbending is truly unique; I could almost feel the sensations as Lin felt them, and I felt her accute sense of loss when that power was taken away.
