I really enjoyed this! There's inherent humor in having such a private conversation in a private office that is still being blatantly overheard, hahaha. Of course, I also love Mai taking that look at the airport and being immediately: man, now I need to get to England.

beautiful, just beautiful. i loved it thank you very much for writing this one shot. i loved how you keep true to naru's character but brought a little twist to it. cant explain it, but i definitely loved it.

So I'm currently on a Mai/Naru rampage, things which occur more often than I'd like, in which I wanted to get rid of the sad atmosphere that I keep surrounding them in when they are anything but, purely because they didn't "end" off very nicely. To do that, I read some sweet and nice fics before this one but this gave me what I needed which was a conclusion pretty much right where it left off. I really like this idea of Mai going after Naru (not necessarily for a relationship because although she had suspicions of his feelings, she wasn't sure) but to prove that what she feels for him is genuine.

I really love how this was a debate, exactly how Mai and Naru tend to do things! Poor Naru doesn't understand that you can't really have a reason to like someone romantically whereas you may have reasons for liking someone as a person but Mai still managed to drill it through his head. I really, really like this. The little details and how they were both nervous, Luella, Martin, Madoka and Lin listening to their conversation and making quick translations and the point of view changes were just right, placed just right and I commend you for that because it's not too easy when it's all happening in one scene! Naru didn't give in to easily too, even after he gave in to her feelings but you held him back from being uncharacteristically Naru and made him stubbornly refuse to admit his feelings properly, exactly as he should.

Also, the last line, wait no - make that the last two lines, were wonderful. Thank you for writing and sharing this because you gave me exactly what I didn't know I wanted!
