Plausible, but it make me wonder how the news of Spock and his choice reached T'pol, as you hinted she had a quote quiet and secluded life lately (envisioning some B level "magazine" showing the scandal of Sarek half-vulcan son ditching his roots ;) ). Wouldn't it be more plausible if Spock would go searching for T'Pol wisdom and experience with humans ?

That said it is a nice sketch, in just a couple lines you give us hints about entire lifes.
