Tony McNucklz chapter 4 . 2/28 every time i return to this story one glaring plot fuck up stands out. immortality. an immortal population with the birth rate of humans and a nearly nonexistent mortality rate would be a plague beyond imagination. neverending exponentially increasing need for exponentially greater resources. it's not paradise, it's stagnation. a population that does not refresh itself with new generations replacing the old ideas and practices with improvements will inevitably stop progressing. just extending the lifespan of human slaves from a 30 year average to an 80 with proper medicine and lifestyle changes would be a massive loyalty grab. then if the serum added approximately 40-70 active healthy years depending on life choices and environment variables for humans and perhaps over a century to the already long lived jaffa would extend subjects usefulness while cementing gratitude for the longer lives. an immortal population would be a plague. a longer than normally lived one would be a boon. death defines existence. it pushes mortals by saying that someday there won't be more we can do. immortality would be a crutch, a hobble that de-incentivizes progress and accomplishment. |

stargatesg1fan1 chapter 20 . 6/26/2019 This was an enjoyable story. I know we will probably never see the ending chapter you mentioned in the AN at the end of the story here. But it's still a good story. I liked Harry's power and how he was rather gray. The only thing I would have changed was maybe giving him some more regular bed partners such as Teyla when she gets a few years older. I would have liked to see Hermione and Sam in that list. But that is just me. I love the immortality Harry is given and is able to grant others. I also love his power level. Though I find myself curious where you were going with his trying to learn Ascension route. I doubt he would want to be under the rules of the Others after he ascended. So would he just wipe them out with the sangraal now that he has that technology after finding away to shield himself? That would make him the only Ascended left. Thanks for taking the time to write and share this story. |

Genesisroyal chapter 20 . 7/20/2018 I'm going through and rereading all these old abandoned works that I still remember reading as they were being worked on. And I have to wonder if the good ones writers will ever come back. So I guess that is my question of you. Will you take up this old flag and run with it again? It was quite good. |

Hikari Nova chapter 3 . 10/9/2017 ...interesting idea but the constant 1st person P.O.V ruins it for me as it feels like i'm reading a self insert ever time I read a 1st person fic |
drucifer000 chapter 20 . 6/2/2017 I'm pretty bummed you lost interest in this story! I really liked it, you did a great job of incorporating both universes while having a distinctly original storyline. The depth that you gave the relations between all the system lords was very cool, this is the firs sg1 fic I've read that did that. I hope maybe you'll change your mind or think of something to jumpstart your desire to continue, but what you've done was very good! |
ironhair chapter 2 . 4/29/2017 That's a super twist. |
ironhair chapter 1 . 4/29/2017 Reading despite this being abandoned...Not sure why, but I have a feeling this will be a very good story. Do wish you had written something on your bio profile, but hope all is well with you in real life. |
