StanaBanana chapter 1 . 4/14/2018 This was wonderful, thank you! |
Twyger chapter 1 . 12/10/2012 Any story that starts with hot chocolate has to be good! I loved how quiet this story is, you can feel the cabin and the wilderness and how relaxed they both are being there in front of the fire. I loved the Ayn Rand poem about the spark and having the life you want and how it tied into your story with their sparks and how they finally have the life that they deserve. The last line, where Kate knows she will never let her love go for Rick, is a nice culmination. Finally she is where we have all wanted her to be for so long, in the emotional sense and the physical sense! Thank you as usual! |
PSGProductions271 chapter 1 . 6/29/2012 Hey! Absolutely loved this, so sweet and romantic. Amazing imagery too, loved this line: "Her eyes stay locked with his, the forest within her depths begging for his oceans of blue to put her out" - just beautiful! Great job! Ly x |
KateMB chapter 1 . 6/28/2012 Beautiful, amazing, exciting descriptive writing. A masterpiece. |
Fallen austin chapter 1 . 6/16/2012 This was so good. It's my first time reading a Castle story, and you didn't let me down. x |
Prairie Song chapter 1 . 6/15/2012 Very well written story. Comparing the growth of their love to the actual fire in the fireplace was just beautiful. And Kate is not going to let her fire go out. Thanks for sharing this. I enjoyed reading it. |
letmetellyouaboutmyfeels chapter 1 . 6/15/2012 Talk about hot! First a slow burn, and then... Wham! Wildfire! You kept it steadily burning the whole way through. Yup, I just shamelessly used puns about fire to review your story. ;) In all honesty, though, I did enjoy it. Thanks for posting! |
kimmiesjoy chapter 1 . 6/15/2012 soft slow steady sensual tender truthful, lasting...perfect! |
JellieEllie chapter 1 . 6/15/2012 The whole thing is just so romantic and VERY well written! I especially love the last lines, and how she's not letting her own fire go out, therefore leading to her feeding the actual fire ad stuff like that... Not the best summarizer, am I? By the way, this is Jennie. I didn't feel like loggin in to write a review, so right now I'm anon |
LoveJessieLou chapter 1 . 6/14/2012 "But one thing she knows for certain. She will not let her fire go out. And so she slips from his loving grasp, padding over to the hearth, she sets another log upon the lazy flames, sending their sparks anew." I loved the use of the fire metaphor. So beautiful and sensual. The whole story just flowed so well. I loved it! And now I want a fireplace... lol baby voodoo |
lkwill39 chapter 1 . 6/14/2012 Oh my! That was good! |
Jerryst316 chapter 1 . 6/14/2012 "But one thing she knows for certain. She will not let her fire go out. And so she slips from his loving grasp, padding over to the hearth, she sets another log upon the lazy flames, sending their sparks anew." That was incredible. Remarkably vivid, great metaphor, wonderful prose. You have found your words, and lucky for us, you shared them here. I especially love the sentence above. It sums up this fic perfectly, the fire in her heart. Light a fire in me, let the sparks fly. Great job. Cheers Jerry |
Deb838 chapter 1 . 6/14/2012 That was really lovely... I want a fireplace... (one that comes with Richard Castle naked on the carpet in front) |
