Dear author, Sasuke's quiet assurance to Naruto that sakura was going to be fine on her first ANBU mission spoke volumes for me. I know this might sound odd, but you captured one of the primary reasons why i love sasuSaku so much in that one line. For me, it was a reflection of how Sasuke saw Sakura - and was indicative of the fact that he really saw her for everything she'd accomplished. I feel like jounin Sakura (full fledged kunoichi sakura; the Godaime's apprentice Sakura) would have wanted Sasuke's acknowledgement that she was an equal and could take care of herself more than anything else. And in his own quiet way, that's what this line established for me in this ch 2. Also, I love that mission scene and post-report flirting with Anzei because it highlighted just how much Sasuke can impart without words. It's something I've always loved about your writing - how so much is conveyed is everything my OTP doesn't say. But my favorite part is how Sasuke STAYED at sakura's apartment. More so than her coming back from dinner and finding him on her couch, just the fact that he stayed and wanted to be where she was warmed my heart! Thank you so much for another awesome chapter!

Dear author, I loved this part one so much! Even though there are no dramatic battles or confrontations, and even though Sasuke's return to the village is relatively quiet (all things considered) - it felt like the subtlety of this first chapter really highlighted just how lost Sasuke felt upon his return to the village. I loved all the day to day moments... even the descriptions of Sasuke's incarceration. by the end of the chapter it was clear that whether he realized it or not - what he was craving was Sakura's companionship, and I loved that so much. This was so much fun to read - thank you for writing and sharing it with us!

Awesome fic

I confess that I liked Anzei, but you also developed Sasuke and Sakura rather IC, in my opinion. I haven't read all of Naruto to know how it ends, but it's nice to see a Sasuke that sees Sakura for her and a Sakura who doesn't immediately seek him out. Thank you for sharing this great little story.
