He was my fav character in war horse. I wont lie, i watched cuz he was played by tom hiddleston, same man who played Loki.

I was sad when he die but this fanfic was also tragic, falling in love with the enemy, watching the woman he loved and knowing that she was pregnant just get kill in front of him ... Sooo much sadnesss.
It somehow i feel happy that he die with a peace of mind of his loved one and his horse claudy coming down from heaven and taking him with him.

Maan, the way you described how bullets pierced him and impact of hard ground added depth to his off screen death after seeing that child-like wide eye look when he saw the machine gun and knowing he was going to die

I like the story, but your paragraphs are a bit long and bunched together, making it a bit hard and overwhelming to read. And when the dialog is mixed in to much with the story, it sometimes makes it hard to tell when someone is speaking or not. Either way I liked the plot, not bad.
