How have I not reviewed this chapter?

But I’m back in the Pokemon fandom for a bit and remembered the old stories that I loved.

Gary - pokemon researcher: firered/leafgreen purify with the necklace;
He’s gonna have to tell Ash that he’s a researcher but can still travel with him
And tell him about Vincent.

Can not believe it’s been 6 years...

Ah what a shame that you didn't finish such a good story!

I like the way you pictured Gary! I like how motivated and passionate was to help Ash and push him to do things with his life! And although he felt bad about the way he treated him he still kept going! I was very sad when Ash rejected him but I guess he was right to feel hurt when Gary never explained why he did all that! One thing that I liked to know more was why Gary hated pokemon, what they took away from him?
The Cheerleaders were more fun in your story and it's really nice that you gave them more important role in the story!
As for his Pokemon I love Eevee and his persistence to make Gary open up! And it's really funny that Gary tells him everything although he dislike Pokemon! Blistoise is interesting character and really royal! Arcanine is sweetheart and his tries to bond with Gary is admirable if you consider with whom he tries to connect! And Pigeot is really helpful and protective! I was really sorry for Raticate but I guess his death was the wake up call for Gary! And poor Lucario! The way she died was really devastating! I really thought that she could make it! But I guess it wasn't meant to be! And lastly Graveler, I love him and I'm glad that he stays with Garys sister and help her out!
May is really cute character and I like how supportive and protective she is toward to Gary!
I also like that Gary has a good relationship with Delia and in Ash and Garys fight helped his as much she helped Ash!
I love stories in which Professor Oak is kinda the bad guy! I hope Gary choose wisely and speak with Ash before he makes any decision!
And the last thing that I want to mention is the messages Ash and Gary exchange when they were young was my favorite moment and chapter!

Ugh! Why does every AMAZING Pokemon fanfic that I read always end up being abandoned or not updated in years?! Come on, you have to finish this story, you just have to! Please, don't give up on this, I beg you!

I read this knowing that it wasn't finished. I'm sad about that. :( It's getting really good! You were right about the Professor though. I hate how he's acting towards Shigeru. :P

The feels are strong in this chapter. T.T I should really stop reading fanfics at a late time. Too much feels. lol

He's such a softie even if he tells his pokemon that he hates them all the time. XD Give Arcanine some love! He's lonely too. lol

You should have ash and gary like do it in the next chapter or something and don't forget to describe it in detail.

Okay, I MIGHT have freaked out a little when I saw you'd updated. Yay! And the plot seems to be thickening with each chapter .. I love it! And the whole bit you added with Ash and the aging thing - brilliant :D

The conversation between Gary and Eevee was bizarre. A good kind, though! The whole history lesson about the link and what not was interesting, though a few times I did wanna skim over it. Nothing against you, I tend to do it lot with stories that have a whole background explanation. Terrible, I know xD

Prof. Oak made me so mad, though! I'll bet that video traumatised him a little xD I'm guessing he's one of those people who don't adapt well to change, at least the drastic ones that differ from the "traditional" way of things, y'know? I explained that better in my head. I just hope things can work out between them :(

Ugh .. I have no idea how this is gonna turn out! Although, I am suspicious about that guy Gary slept with. Was his name Vincent? I forget xD Maybe he's in Team Rocket and they set him up. That's my theory!

The typical line about love stories truly applies here: love is hard to find, and when you do find it it is hard to keep. I wish gary could tell oak to screw off, but it seems like your not leaning in that direction. This chapter was nicely written btw. I was happy when i saw you updated. I wonder about the link thing though, it kinda seems like a plot point you threw in there cus you really wanted to add mentions of that game you mention ( i dont know the name) and i hope it doesnt get too saturated of plot point when the story could practically hold up with out that part... Im just saying, but now that its there, i hope u can use it to make the story intresting and stuff... I kinda skipped over the part where eeve as telling him the story cus it was too much like somebody telling you a movie, you get the gust but the intresting part is gone. Lol i still like the story though, so please dont get unmovitated. I hope gary does the right thing, otherwise i can totally see him ending up in sinnoh and ash chasing him there. Lol update soon!

An update, YAY! And it was AWESOME! Totally worth the wait! Can't tell you how happy I am that you're back; I just LOVE LOVE LOVE your story! The chapter was perfect, just perfect!
