I really, Really flippin love this story!
I have loved the Jefferson character since they introduced him (didn't hurt none that the awesomely sexy Sebastian Stan played him to perfection either! ;))
Although I am usually a CaptainSwan shipper, I decided to delve back into this pairing because that was my original ship but at the time, their were no good ones to hop on.
Which is why I am so glad I found this one!
I Love the backstory you give him and the fleshing out of his story. I love that Emma doesn't just immediately want to rape him or fall in bed but that there is actual plot and story and that It Takes Time!
I also love the premise of the Realm Room and the ability to access any story that ever was. It is a conceptual story idea I have actually toyed with myself for another story and I am so psyched to see it portrayed so flippin perfectly here!
I LOVE your Jefferson and I cannot blame Emma one bit for jumpin him, he is simply too adorable,... not to mention emotionally needy, sensitive, badass and freakin gorgeous, which, as all good writers know, is like damn Crack to fangirldom!
You are definitely on my watchlist now and I will be awaiting to see what other awesomeness flows from your talented pen...
And yes please to the idea of coming back to this story!

There are no words to describe how much I loved this fic... but I'm gonna try anyway.

There was absolutely no part of this that wasn't perfect, I am a little jealous of your ability to sort through the biggest issues with the Mad Swan ship and have Jefferson and Emma come out on top AND make it such a damn good read! I couldn't stop reading, but at the same time I wanted to savor it because of how much I was enjoying it. I loved Emma's hesitancy, I loved how you included Grace and Henry into it all, and the bits with Jefferson's past and him forgetting Grace were phenomenal. Every emotion that you described I was feeling right along with them, and all the characters rang true to themselves. I just can't praise you highly enough for this. Definitely one of my all-time favorite Mad Swan fics. Thanks for such a well written, and engaging read. I hope you find the muse to write Mad Swan again someday, because you do it so well!
