That was quite a cute and lovely little piece there! Well written; it's not common that I find someone whose writing is not awkward or forced. And very true to the original anime, too.

I love it too, and I'm so angry they didn't get a coupling. _ ! Mayaka and Satoshi had an inferred coupling at the end!

Oh, last sentence. "The only thing he... huge sigh." Instead of admitting, I believe you mean admit.

Also, try out present tense with stream-of-consciousness style writing. It's really quite wonderful for these kinds of short little pieces. If done well, that is.
