Hey, so I'm definitely not new to the Hawaii five-0 fandom but I am new to shipping these two perfect people, I read like 4 Steve/Danny stories before this one and they were all good but not what I was looking for. But then I found this masterpiece and absolutely fell in love. I've been reading this for like 24 hours now, it's six in the morning and I have yet to go to sleep because I just couldn't put this down. You are such a great writer and this story is absolutely perfect! And I love the 50k words 1 chapter! So don't let anybody tell you differently!
You made me fall in love with your version of these characters and I am so sad it's over!
And God, am I in love with this Steve?! Fucking perfection! With how amazing he is with grace and how cute and insecure he is while still being his badass self! And the Danny is a painter thing really works, and for a second there I forgot it wasn't canon! And was amazing and Kono too!

The one thing that I'd say is missing is the kids talk, since I felt like it was kind of going there in the last couple of chapters, but i still love it!

Anyways amazing job and know that you've got a fan in me ;)

This was an awesome story! I only read completed stories so I don't have to wait around for a new chapter to be posted and I am sitting here at 1.34 in the morning weeping at the beautiful, beautiful relationship Danny and Steve have built. Awesome!

I really hate to see the end of this! You certainly encompassed the guys and I absolutely love your Grace! She seems so stiff and uncertain in the show but I love how you made her more outgoing and lovable! I hope you are going to write more stories in your universe with this family! Can't wait to read more from you soon!

I really really enjoyed this, especially that last chapter and Danny's conversation with Steve. I thought for a moment, if now Steve goes with Joe to find Shelburne, Danny and Steve will be over. But Steve came to Danny in person and all is well.
