Nice to see someone who has been active on this site as long as you have! Not that I could say the same about myself though.

Had a really good read with this one. I know I should like the story even more but I do not. The only guess I have is that maybe it is a bit too simplistic for me. What I mean is the plot is pretty straight forward with no many surprises. But not all stories need to be overly complicated, this certainly does not. It probably is the best it can be in its current form. You are a very skilled writer (or were even back then seeing this story was published in 2002 over a ten years ago).

All the characterizations were spot on but if I got to say something specific about them is that JJJ was great. You gave him a change to show his softer side without looking like a complete wuss. He was not one dimensional angry boss or a completely different character, he was himself, a person who is many things. Some other writer may not have survived that well...I can see this type of character exploration going horribly wrong in so many ways...

Also Spiderman's portrayal was great. He had his strong sense of right and wrong and that, as usual, was his biggest flaw (if you could call it that). He does not see backing off as an option and risks his own life because he simply cannot think of giving up. Peter does not believe he has that change and thinks he has to act no matter what. Oh, and his quick, jokey personality shined! At first I was a bit bothered of how much you used the name Spiderman instead of Peter but then I got used to it and saw that you also called him by his real name whenever he was out of his costume. Just pure personal preference thing. For me Spiderman is Peter but Peter is not Spiderman. If it makes any kind of sense.

I am a big sucker for H/C stuff and you did not disappoint me. More hurt and less (but not too little) comfort is how I like it. All the descriptions of pain and everything relating to it were...delicious. (Sorry for that sinister tone, could not think of a better word). None of them were over the top thus fitting in Spiderman's regular world without any effort.

Hope I have said something new although it definitely does not feel like it. What would be the point of reviewing if there were nothing worth hearing to say?

It, was, FABULOUS! My absolute favorite Spidey story! Honestly I've been looking for a good one for awhile and had been continuously disappointed until I found this one. But this, this Far exceeded my expectations. Omg it was so great. You have talent girl, and dont let anyone tell you otherwise.

I realize that this is pretty old, but I just have to review. This is really, really good; I especially like the fact that you're weaving continuities together. Nice job!

Wow, just Wow. That has go to be the best Spider-man Fanfic I have ever read! And that means alot coming from a critic like me. You really hit the nail on the head when it came to defining why Spider-man is a Hero. So, bravo! I will be looking for other Fanfics from you.
