This broke my heart. I appreciate that you wrote from a perspective that treated Arthur's thoughts as normal rather than ostracizing him as crazy. I feel like it was a more effective way of telling the story and getting the reader to connect that no, what he is experiencing isn't normal. But it feels like it is to him. And the ending was like a punch to the gut.

That last line... I have an ED, and that line actually made me cry, because I know how it feels.:(

I don't mean to flame, or call you stupid. I understand you may not have known, it's not common knowledge. But what Arthur has is not Anorexia, it's Bulimia... The difference between the two disorders is: With Anorexia, your body rejects the food, or your disgusted by the thought of eating. Cases vary. With Bulimia, all you care about is your weight, calorie intake, and what others think. You want to be as skinny as you can and only eat enough to survive. Cases vary with this one too. This is what Arthur has.

I've gotta say that the last line in the story is somehow one of the most powerful and memorable things I've ever read. I haven't read this in over a year but I still remember the line and I just wanted to tell you how great of a story you developed in such a short amount of words. You're awesome, bro

Wow from the other stories that I have read that deal with anorexia this one byvfar is the best when it comes to deal with the inner turmoil od the character. I really hope that it does not come from your own experience and if it does I hope u r feeling better. :)
About the story I was a littje dissapointed about the open ending but in general I enjoyed it very much. You have a good writing style.

Wow this was a great story! I have a character who is anorexic and bulimic and its so sad what happens but it makes a really nice story I thinkYou made me think about anorexia as well, how so many people deal with it every day. Thank you for writing this!

wow, ive gotta say, you really did a convincing anorexic england in this. as someone who has had an ED, i think you described the thought processes involved very well. its so heart-breakingly sad, though! :,(
