Well in canon- Katniss ruined his original plan. When she blew up the food supply sky-high. Plus she killed 2 of his allies to boot. Thresh killed Clove. So Cato better think of a back-up plan in case...As for Peeta if he is still the kind boy from canon-I cannot see Peeta liking to have to kill in cold blood.

Oh my gosh! Enobria is Cato's mentor! Good. She's much... prettier than Brutus. I just know it. I like how you've described her though! I've always pictured her to be Asian, short/thin stature, with short black hair and of course, fangs. But a blonde cute one works too! They need to cast Catching Fire already. .

But back to your writing! It's beautiful! I love how you're putting a lot of people in here. It's a great way to add in a kick. I have a feeling a lot of readers usually skim over the parts about the Reaping, Capitol, etc. and are like, "Let's just get to the Cato/Peeta smexytime parts, I've already read all this in the original book" but your writing would make all that go away for the people that read through like that.

And I hope you get more reviews! I don't know about you, but reviews actually make me write. They motivate me because I feel like people love my work. I hope you get many more reviews on this. :)

So Peeta only likes Katniss as a friend here. good to know. But I'm curious to see what Peeta's strategy is...And how he got Cato's attention. While in canon Cato is 'brutal and bloody' according to Katniss. Cato nearly survived the games. So he's definitely no idiot...So I have some serious Qs on how Peeta ended up in the Careers in the first place. Especially after he made that love confession in public...

That was quite good for your first story. Your writing has excellent flow and Cato is an interesting perspective to write from. You forgot the ending quotation mark at the very end of your story, but other than that, there aren't many grammar or spelling errors as most people's first stories are bound to have.

It's interesting how you began this, but it feels a little like you're losing the character we all know Cato is. But that's alright because it's still early. The Hunger Games change people. I can't wait to see what else you have in stored for us!
