My first thought was "Well, at least this way Asami won't be hurt when she finds out Mako likes Korra. Jealous and angry, maybe, but not hurt." Then the last line shattered that. I'm assuming you're sticking to canon and Korra likes Mako back. Shame. It broke my heart seeing Asami in so much pain in the actual show. It sucks when authors put her through it in fanfic, too, even though I know they're just sticking to what's canon and all that. Good job! I enjoyed it.
