Morgana is more powerful than Gwydion, but I think we often forget how new to magic Morgana is. Gwydion has been practicing his magic for decades and is much quicker and has better reflexes than Morgana expects. That's a mistake that she makes is she underestimates him when she tries to burn his garden.

you know it doesn't make sense? i mean why would morgana turn to that old man when she is more powerful then him. she must be more powerful than him because if she weren't than how can she threatening him?
