I've never actually seen a father son Yugi and Yami fic before. It's definitely a cool concept imo and you did a good job with it here. Nice work!

It's the best story of the Universe

I really love this story! Maybe it's from having grown up with the English dub, but Yugi seeing Yami as an older brother or father always made perfect sense to me. I like the natural way you wrote Grandpa Moto and Yami's confusion over Yugi also made a lot of sense. This story is now in my personal head-canon, so thanks a lot for writing it!

This was a really touching one-shot and the emotions displayed was incredible. You really captured the feelings of not only Yami, but Yugi too. As what MyFalseTruth says, it's really hard to find a story (and from what deadpoolhulk said) where Yugi's father isn't some total butt head.

... To be honest, how you wrote Yugi's father makes me think that's the real thing. Yugi isn't into sports and (mostly) every father always wants their son to be athletic. So the father you wrote really goes in well. :)

For Yugi seeing Yami not only as a brother and best friend, but as a father figure, I totally see it that way too!

There wasn't any errors I saw so great job on that. You did an amazing job at the story, especially at catching emotions. I really loved and enjoyed this piece and can't wait to read more! (Whether they be from your current story or a new one.;])

This is so amazing! It's really hard to find stories about Yami and Yugi that are this good! I love it! It's very touching. I've never seen much about Yugi's relationship with his father but that seems like something that would happen. Just great!

It's sad that Yugi and Ryuu can't be closer, but I think Yami makes a more awesome dad anyways -

Plus him and Yugi are just alike when it comes to liking games and such.

aww. so very touching the entire way through. Yuigis dad was an interestingly played out character. makes a nce change in this fandom to see him as anything other then a total uncaring asshole (with abuse implied at the very least.)

And the ending was amazingly adorable. loved every word of this.
