Poor Sakura! Stupid Kabuto! You know that the story is good when you hate or love a character! Amazing story! I hope Sasuke finds Sakura or Sakura finds Sasuke either way I hope they meet and stupid Kabuto is killed!

oh author... now this I did not expect! Which is stupid of me because I know you hinted in previous chapters that Shika would get letters from a gal from the USO, but so much has happened since then that I failed to put two and two together! I really wondered how Sasuke could possibly find Sakura under the circumstances, and depending on how much wine I've had - I'll occasionally even wonder whether he's still alive(!) But I think this chapter is giving me hope! As always, thank you so much for writing and sharing another stellar chapter with us~

dear author, reading this seemed so timely to me in our current world climate. i confess that reading Sakura's inner thoughts here about the suffering of the jews, and other marginalized groups under the Nazis made me think about my own self absorbed tendencies... its amazing to me how a work of fanfiction managed to remind me of something like this. The risks you've taken with this story are incredible, and in my humble opinion - they've made the story that much more compelling. Dear author, I am reeling from Ch 13 and this Ch 14. To think Sakura had her wits about her enough to leave that note in Major Hatake's pocket! I loved reading the letters bw Naruto and Hinata in Ch 13... but I adored the flashback you gave us in this chapter even more. It was so much fun to read how Sasuke and Sakura started back at base camp, and to realize how long sasuke has loved her for. I can't even begin to imagine his anguish at her disappearance, and can't wait to for the next ch to see what happened after the altercation with Kabuto from Sakura's point of view! as always, thank you so much for writing and sharing your stories with us!

Oh my gawwwwwwwwwwwwd. Dear author, I definitely suspected - but the way this chapter was written still had me choking at the revelation. Oh Sakura... if only she and Sasuke weren't so mutually stubborn! After my first read, I thought - "why the hell didn't she just tell him? she's smart, but he could have helped her... he could have turned to the Major or worked something out with Naruto - Team 7 teamwork style!" But after my second and third read, I understand - you're right; there's no way Sasuke would have let her anywhere near this. He would have insisted that she go home... This absolutely gut wrenching developing aside - I adored the way Sakura's inner strength was presented in this chapter. Yes, we know she's smart and capable. But having a knife to her throat as she secretly moves for the gun in her pocket... her resolve to take Kabuto out on her own - really reminded me of inner Sakura... of the Godaime's apprentice in canon Sakura. It was thrilling to read! As always, thank you so much for writing and sharing your work with us!

oh author... I read this chapter three times and I want to move on to Ch 12 but I'm scared what happens next. I love reading Sasuke's POV; his deep love, care and concern for Slim - even if its something he doesn't/can't outwardly show. And gawwwwwwd that Kabuto is so gross and shifty... and thank goodness Sakura was able to keep the Major alive! As always, thank you so much for writing and sharing this amazing story with us!

Dear author, I adore the way Naruto is written here - his optimism is contagious, and his dynamic with respect to SAsuSaku is giving me the best Team 7 vibes all over again! :D It was also gratifying to read Naruto's gut reaction to Kabuto - because while Naruto is never the sharpest tool tin the shed, his instincts are spot on... and its making me nervous about what's to come! I adored this chapter (I know I'm sounding like a broken record, but I can't help it!) and the news of SAsuSaku's engagement and the reception that it received from the rest of the patrons in the bar was so heart warming.
