I loved this short, I love stories about an emotional Tony. It’s now one of my favorite stories about Steve and Tony. You did and amazing job writing this. I love the references. You did a perfect job capturing their relationship. Thanks so much for writing this.

Oh, this was so good! I love this, Tony taking care of Steve, yet never feeling like he did enough. Breaks my heart!

GOD LOVES VIRGINS

A child protected from the dark and the cold and monsters. Steve Rogers’ father has come to visit leaving behind muddy bogged trenches and pools of lung aspecting green mustered
to stand by Tony’s side and watch his son sleep.

What an agony to read after all the shattered betrayal Stark suffered when Captain America told him he knew Buckie killed his parents and had lied to him.

Then when Steve told Tony that Buckie was his friend and Tony told him, “I thought I was your friend.”

So few friends Tony has and one of them his childhood rival and now his betrayer.

You story is excellent enough to make grief jump off the page. Few writers can touch crossovers making both story lines more alive and vivid.

Cold of ice or cold of morphine, always unwanted.

I love this.

The abandoned dog stares in horror, cold fear and grief rotting through him as his master, beloved beyond all others, dumps him alone as if trash.

Is this what Troy saw when Stevie awoke, startled. Alone? Abandoned?
