What a cool concept for a story! I really like the way this is told from Coulson's point of view.

He is Captain America, he”ll make it.”

Yesterday I was watching a You Tube review of Cap stating he was a hero of every one from Liberals to Librarians, seems Coulson was right.

The shift of the trading cards in Coulson’s pocket mingled then with with now—as Coulson leaned against Captain America—felt the roll of damp wet hair, alive and growing under the man’s finger tips, felt blood both wet and bright seeping from a wound inflicted on a child—a man child—slammed into war to shut up the portal of Hell—would indeed live—like his generation.

This is a perfect story. Love Coulson, and the way he snaps the researchers to attention. Thank you! db

I really love this one. It's one of the stories I have bookmarked on my phone, and I come back to read it again every so often. Coulson is great, and his faith in and compassion for Captain America is beautifully portrayed and really touching. Thanks for a wonderful read.
