No worries about not finishing this story. However, let me just tell you: I loved (hell, still love) your writing, and it was honestly one of the reasons why I made an account for ff. I loved how you enjoyed what you wrote, and how you brought these characters to life and thrusted them into a whole new world that had endless possibilities. I'm glad that you made this story for us readers to enjoy, and as a preteen who was too shy to make a story of her own, my past self really thanks you for explaining the entire plot of the story in this one chapter and giving us readers closure on how it would've ended. :) You yourself are a great writer, and thank you for the bottom of my heart for creating a story like this for me to read all those years ago. Good luck with your (real) life! I'll be rooting for you! :)

I can relate to you, so don't feel awful. It's draining when you put so much emotional investment in characters. Even if they aren't real, they mean something to you.

You made the right choice to choose your life over pining for an ending you couldn't complete. Maybe someday you'll go back and finish this, but for now, just live the way you know you need to. FF will still be here, and so will everyone else.

This got me emotional with so many feelings. This was one of my favorite fanfics, and I'd always go back to reading this story whenever I felt nostalgic. I've gone past the phase now, with Vocaloid being buried in the back of my head, kind of like long-forgotten-but-not. I sort of dropped out of the fandom, but this update brought back so, so many memories. I remember staying up past midnight, pretending to be asleep and hiding under my covers just to finish reading your story. Thinking back, it was worth it. I feel extremely lucky to have read Meltdown, and I'm so glad you explained what happened afterwards and what the ending was supposed to be like. While scrolling through old comments I stumbled upon my own, stating that I shipped Luka and Aito. Weeeeell, I STILL DO. Yes, I'm a little disappointed that they never end up together in the end, but oh well xD I just wanted to thank you for this story, and I hope you'll continue writing more in the future!

I just wanted to let you know that as much as i am sad that you've decided to drop the story (and that Aito and Luka don't get together XD), I'm very happy that you explained the story till the end. I love this story so much and I'm super grateful to having read this. I've been inspired by it through many occasions and I respect your decision.

I am confused however (and i'm not trying to convince you otherwise) but even if you drop it, is it necessary to delete it? I think lots of people would benefit from reading it, whether that just be enjoying it or being inspired by it, and so long as you leave the chapter that explains the ending then perhaps it should be fine? I don't know your situation and i understand if you don't want to say it on the internet but I was just curious.

oh boy, you've come a long way, huh? i remember staying up late on school nights just to read these, and i really enjoyed all the chapters! i had gotten a different sort of representation of the characters, and i really liked all of them, from rin who could stand by herself, but was still lonely, and to teto who was eccentric but still funny and lovable. yeah, the whole high school au thing is cliche, but this was different, and i think that was another reason why i enjoyed it so much. the sideplots weren't boring and i was indulged with the main pairing! i used to keep screenshots of certain scenes, just so i could always re read them again, but i figured the story would always stay here, so why bother?

but i totally understand where you're coming from, you wanted a sort of closure and i'm cool with that, but if it's not too much to ask, maybe upload them on a different site? maybe just like documents? this used to be one of my favourite vocaloid fanfics, and i had reread it several times. i'd love another opportunity! but it's your decision, and i'm happy that you at least gave a brief summary of what would've happened next. it gives us a sort of closure as well. the whole 'meltdown' thing makes a lot more sense now and i think it's an even better story because of that! it's a great idea and i would've loved to see the snippets that you wrote as well.

so yeah, thank you so much for writing all this! i'll remember this fic until i completely drop out of the vocaloid fandom ;) good luck in college!

Unfinished fics are, well, unfinished and never have closure but your writing was entirely good and the plot was.. Unique? I loved it. Yeah maybe it was a lot close to usual school fics at times but, I felt so immersed within it when I read it, I don't want to lose a story like that, you know? To be able to immerse yourself in a fic is so amazing, with this fic I was able to..

Ultimately, it is your choice on what to do with this story - leave it like this, delete entirely, etc, but I hope you consider putting the chapters back up and leaving it at that, so people can come back and read it - the closure in this chapter is there, we won't get to read everything but we know what was supposed to happen, so we could go back and read and just imagine everything!

..I rambled, I guess I'm kind of attached to this story, to RinLen/LenRin shipping in general too. I just remember first coming into this ship and reading your story, shaping my love for this couple along with a few others. Years passed since I first joined this ship's fandom but my love for the fics still remain, and the love for the ship does too!

Thank you for the hard work that went into it. I'm very grateful for all of it, especially because you drew me further into this ship and the fandom in general. At one point, I did fall out of it, but I came back and read stories, yours included, and just.. Fell in love all over again. Thank you.
