Interesting take of Dawn being the Key to Purgatory (first I've read of it) - great gooey-ness of Sam and Dawn together. Love the idea of Dawn being able to hear Sam because of her bright glowy ball self. Nice getting Sam's soul back to his body.
SO freakin' sad about Castiel taking Rafael through to the Never and DYING ... but he didn't?! Love the message Cas said to Buffy.
All in all, a good ride.

But why would soulless Sam believe that Dawn was a ghoul? I mean, she's got a soul, and she's not snacking on dead things. I guess he thought she was just because the rest of the group was, and it's hard to believe a human would just appear.

Like the Sam's soul in the glowy orb thing. Great plot.

So badly want the sequel to this story! Such a great cliffhanger and I am so stoked to see some kind of continuation with Castiel on Buffy's side and Dawn on the Winchester's side. CONTINUE...PLEASE!

Love this Crossover! Dawn's sassiness and Sam's shyness go really well together and I adore how you brought in the darker elements of both fics into your story.

Ohmahgod. You. Astound me. This completely melted my brain. I want this in hardcopy form so I can treasure it and love it forever. And yes the very millisecond I saw that Buffy was looking over Castiel I started shipping them. They would be such an interesting pairing, once Buffy got over her you-tried-to-do-WHAT-to-my-sister freakout. And I can definitely see Buffy having some fun with Castiel's adorable cluelessness.
In short, I worship this story and vote down to your awesome power of writing and plot-bunnying.
