I was wondering when you would update this. Great chapter! So in character for Sybil to refuse to leave, especially because she feels guilty (though I also believe it's because she has feelings for him). And I'm so glad she got to see him before she left. I'm waiting with bated breath for the confrontation with Lord Grantham. Please update soon!

Loved it! Glad Branson's going to be okay but I suspected he would be (how's Sybil going to fall in love with a dead man? :P). I liked the twist on Matthew coming to get Mary- though this time because Sybil wouldn't leave and of course Sybil wouldn't have considered the gossip that could arise from her staying at the hospital.

I liked that the let her see him, it was a nice moment and I can't wait to see what comes from it.

So looking forward to the next chapter! I wonder how Lord Grantham's going to react?

Great chapter! I think you did an excellent job of portraying Lady Mary and her scene with Sybil was really great. Of course Sybil wouldn't think of staying in those terms because she's Sybil, and cares for others. I love how Sybil couldn't help but touch his shoulder.
