Quibily chapter 1 . 6/26/2012
Very true to Rachel's character that she'd call and practically drill him about this. Lovely story.

That was great! My heart would like to argue with you on the whole 'not that angsty' comment cause as amazing as it was it still hurt like hell. You did a great job writing this :)
TaleWeaver chapter 1 . 5/30/2012
maybe it's just me, but I see this as exquisitely bittersweet myself. I, too, don't think this is the end for Finchel. I spent the first two seasons of glee thinking that they'd go to separate colleges anyway. 'surrender' isn't the same thing as 'breaking up forever'. Even if their paths diverge right now, who says that they can't meet up again? All roads lead to Rome, after all why not new york?

"That means you keep that other dream."

So many feels in this one line. *cue slow cap* This is just .. **whistles**

loved it!

i also dont see the train scene "as the end-all be-all moment", i mean, they have cell phones, no need to stop all communications :p
SLopez chapter 1 . 5/29/2012
This is my favorite post-finale one-shot so far. And I don't know what you mean when you say it's not that angsty, because I was on the verge of tears almost since the beginning, and that usually means a story is perfect, in my book. :)
wood-u-like-2-no chapter 1 . 5/29/2012
Best post finale one-shot I've read so far. Totally in character and frankly this might even become my head-canon now for what happened immediately after her trip to NY. Again, you show a mastery of what makes each character tick and how they interact with each other. It takes some more convincing, but she realizes Finn is right - she needs to pursue this for her dreams to become reality. And the month long workshop is good, too. In my mind, I always imagined Finn was going into the army and he'd be gone by the time she got back anyway, but this works well, too. Well done, but then, from you, I'd expect nothing less.
