I like this, but i think you're jumping the gun with teh romance, just a bit. I don't care that Percy is doing all these wondrous things that make him mature faster, he's still not even fifteen. Thalia's feelings are just a wee bit odd if you remember that. Making them good friends who later on become somehting more? Yahoo! What you have here? OK, but nothing more.
Nevertheless, the action is lucid and though it lacks some tension since the original books and the direction of the story itself ensures the outcome. Your best portions were the (all- to- short) sections where Thalia is in Hades without the other demigods; in other words, where the book provides litle to no spoilers.

This story is really interesting! I like the idea of Thalia and Percy meeting earlier than in the books. Also, I like idea of them becoming a couple; don't know why I just do.
