That was really fun to read and I admire the use of heritage; i haven't seen that before. Also, that Jason had actual fears here. Too often I see fics where Piper's the simpering girl who can't hold herself together and Jason's the uber-confident guy who can do anything, but you gave him the same fears as any other sixteen year old kid headed off to war. Kudos for that.
