This was odd and light hearted. Really pleasant, actually, considering the subject matter; kinda detached. Never seen someone take this kind of spin on it. The third person view lends a tone that is simmilar to... the consistency of clouds? A light salad? Not going to go so far as to say refreshing, but, you know, makes you quirk your face a bit.

I like it. Badge of pleasantness is bestowed.

l liked the Natsu you've made here - shouting at people without the "simmering anger" this character normally gets stuck with. The final scene also, quite frankly, one of the best little nalu scenes I have read in a while. You can certainly use parenthesis' to your most excellent advantage.

Once again, I read one of your stories... Strange to say, when I do, I kind of fear what I'm going to read next, but at the same time my eyes can't stop going from line to line... I think you managed to mesmerize me with your writing! I don't think it's a bad thing though... I love your stories, they are always so well written! This one as well... I really liked the end!

Okay first of all, you're making everything smell of cheese. seriously.

Anyway, I like the story overall but there are some points I have to criticize. First of all, what's your issue with contractions? Especially in spoken dialogue there's an overabundance of it is and do not and stuff like that. I doubt any of the characters would actually talk like that were english their native language. Also, I didn't think the thing about the sacrifice made that much sense. Natsu goes through a great amount of trouble to stop everyone from sacrificing themselves and having a heroic death. Why would he suddenly decide to do something like that himself?

I liked all the funny little details, random elfman, cana offering to leave the guild over something trivial and everybody loves Lisanna. Also I liked that you ended without having him say it out loud but just sort of a hopeful half ending.

I really liked this! I think this is the first story I've read where someone's killed Igneel like that and had Natsu found his carcass, and I have to agree with you that it does allow for a nice story plot. I also believe you did a very good job with the grief of losing a parent. Take it from someone who's been there. Natsu's reaction seemed real and believable. And I like how you left an open ending, I guess you could have tried to supply an answer, but I think it works in your story's favor to leave it as you did. After all, it was about dealing with loss.
