A great story. Very good.

I originally read this quite a while ago, although I didn’t review it at the time. It was amusing, despite the fact that I myself don’t actually follow basketball.

But as I re-read it in (very) late 2004, I can’t help wondering:

Have they realized yet who won the World Series this year? And what happens when they do?

This was really cute. And timely as the Cubs may be going back to the series for the first time in about 100 years. And I can think of no great sign that the appocalypse is coming than that. ;)
