This is a really beautiful start to I suspect a beautiful story.

I forgot about the wedding. I forgot how Matt and Sam seemed in the end.
Mary was wow, she completely deserved that smack.
I forgot Andrea dated Britney. I don't know why I thought she hated white people.
I must have forgot that is was actually Quinn's shigidy that got Puck and Kim killed. I agreed with Dwight. In Quinn's wacky world Mercedes would marry her.
I forgot Sebastian and Aphasia were close.
Matt took a swing at Sam Lol... forgot that too.

This chapter could be subtitled: CRAZY Mama! Cause Mary Evans done lost her mind! Lovin' the slap heard round the hospital, Sebastian/ Aphasia besties, Matt Rutherford deadpans (classics), Dwight Evans shipping Samcedes and Samcedes love!

It takes a great storyteller to right so richly that you cry again after shedding big fat tears the first time you read something! Cried uglier tears this time as Sam recounted the gruesome details of the Rutherford Massacre. At one point, I couldn't tell if I was crying harder for the Rutherford family in death or for Matt and his anguished living. Also, on this read, I raised an eyebrow and shed a tear for Sam, as the realization hit me that Sam moving to help Miracle created the bloody print that led to him being arrested, convicted imprisoned, finding real faith and love. Bloody footprint on the path to redemption!
Aphasia is a bad mama jamma, but she ain't woman enough to take Babydoll' s man! Back up girl!
Awww! There's the Dwight Evans I know and love! Handlin' business for his son and future daughter in law! Love it!

So hard to read the reactions to all the deaths and pain! Samcedes love is being tested before it really gets started!

Puckcedes, the definition of toxic relationship, so unhealthy for both! Nice to see each trying to break the cycle! Puck trying to deal with the reality of Samcedes tugged at my heartstrings. Glad he had made up his mind to break the cycle of dependency on alcohol and Mercedes for a good future with Beth. Too bad it is too late. Poor Puck! Poor Beth! Poor Mercedes and family!
Mary Evans is somethin' else! 2 faced manipulative heff... I know what happens but I'm still hopin' that Stacie knocked some sense into her.

It really changes everything as Sam and Mercedes and family begin the process of moving from victims to victors! Love the Samtina friendship and how Mike has respect for it early on!
Still shake my head at the Emma reveal. The lies and secrecy really have impacted everyone adversely despite her attempts to protect them.
