Please continue this! This is amazing so far! It is all still very vague and the plot could use some advancing but that's why you must continue! It's hard finding Parent!Lock stories that don't have Hamish in it. So congrats. And it is all very believable. Sherlock and John's relationship seem open to interpretation as well.
