Huh, after reading this version of the sentinel/guide world ruled by the government I suddenly have the urge to write a dark fic where there is a mass suicide among guides in order to be free of what is basically government sanctioned slavery.

Wow, I'm totally hooked on this. All the Sentinel/Guide info is kinda fuzzy for a little bit but as the story progresses it all became clear. This is certainly an original concept, I would like to know how this will influence their relationship and how this plot will unfold. Please do update soon.

Gee, somehow "protected citizen" sounds a lot like 'chattel' in the case of the Guides, however much they try to tie it up in nicer language and polite mannerisms. Can't wait to see how Penny and Sheldon intend to deal with this indignity.

That is a lot of paperwork for a Sentinel/Guide alliance. Penny is getting the short end of the stick in this deal. At least Sheldon is not the kind of person to take advantage of her.

nice to see an update. i like how you kept sheldon in character as far as allowing him to feel the nerves i would imagine him to feel if he were gonna have sex, while at the same time making it clear that his sentinal side was taking over.

do you think you can give a brief description of the duties or traits that are associated with being a sentinal or gaurdian in the next chapter? just for those who have never read about it before, or at least the author or books that have it in it.

the sex scene was very 't' rated, is it going to be more involved as the story moves along, or are you more comfortable with vaguer sex scenes?

Ooh, la la! I like it so far! The wording is a little awkward here and there, but it's not too bad. :) Though... "Gawd" seems like it might be a bit of an exaggeration, especially since it's in her head and not dialogue, but that's your choice. :-) (I'm not trying to hate on your writing, I just don't like reviewing if I don't have anything constructive to say!)
