I know this fic has been here for almost 7 years, but I've started reading fanfics just this year and I've read all of it in a hurry! I really glad you put effort on Naoto's gender struggles.

As a cis woman (just so you know from where I'm speaking), it always appeared to me that Naoto was a non-binary person, that most of her dysphoria was due to society expectations of femininity and her awareness to misogyny, but her time as a boy was part of her as well, and even if she decides to be who she is biologically, she wouldn't end up being "feminine". You did a great job describing her fellings, and the romance part is also well paced and realistic.

I don't expect you to reply or even read this, but I would love the possibility if finishing reading what you've thought for Naoto and Kanji. Thank you a lot!

years of no Update TTATT

WHAAATT?! Seriously?! This was last updated 3 years ago. I guess I should have expected that this story would never be finished. I'll just curl in a corner and cry out of despair.

On a serious note, damn! This is a very deep and thought-provoking story. I love the current format. I don't think Kanji's flashbacks are needed for this one as the story focuses on Naoto's self-discovery.

There are a lot of things that I like in this story. And writing it in a span of 3 months is amazing (though it may have cost the rest of the chapters). Each chapter is a gem actually. I would love to dissect each chapter if I have the time. It is definitely a good read and recommended to everyone even if the story is not yet completed (I still can't move on at the fact that this story might not have the conclusion everyone deserved...just post an Author's Note and summarize the ending DAMMIT!)

Now I'll resume to my despair. D:

I usually skip reading stories that have been inactive this long, but this is a case where I'm glad I didn't.
You're providing a heavily character-oriented story with deep characterization - something you only see so much of around here, especially done this well. You're also looking at a topic that I feel isn't written about nearly enough. You're not just providing a unique, refreshing perspective on the character, you're giving us a series of them.
I've very much enjoyed what I've read so far, and I hope to eventually be able to read the ending.

That was freaking awesome! I hope this isn't the end since I only found this one two days ago. It was a great read while i listened to p4 music remixes.

I love this story. I haven't made a fanfic account yet. BUT. when I do... I'm adding this to my favs.

the pace you have kanji and naoto going at is perfect. Not too rushed, not too slow where I start doubting if this is a kanjixnaoto.

I like the confusion that naoto is having even after all those years she spent outside of inaba in her work force as a female. Seems like such a naoto thing to do. Pretend to go forth with the idea, yet backtrack once a singl
doubt or conflict comes out. that shadow bit surprised me, yet was perfect timing cause it gives the story a bit standing ground and draws back to the roots 'pursue your true self'.

I find naoto one of my favorite characters. I seem to not get enough if this story.

no matter how long I have to wait for another update I will wait! live to read more of this excellency.

Okay. Finally reached the latest chapter.
Whew.
Fifteen chapters... Its like climbing out of the pit(of awesome story) and into the light. Feels amazing. My mind is still reeling from the last flashback of Kanji and Naoto. And not in a bad way. :P

Can't wait for your next update. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to rest my brain a bit...

Agh. Okay so I've been convinced by the author's note to leave a review. Even if it's like 5 chapters behind. Loving the story so far. Lots. Hmmm I don't think the chapters are too slow or too long. I prefer slow to fast anyway. Well then again that depends how good the writer makes the story and matches the speed to everything else in the story. /

AAAAAnnnyway. Love your story so far. Got a tad confusing with the shadows/internal conflict/turmoil and what not but I think i more or less got it :P

I am really enjoying reading your fic. I can hardly pull myself away from the computer. I've always loved Naoto/Kanji they are the best couple. I really like how you've added more into Naoto's gender issues, though it does get confusing when you keep switching Pronouns. But that's ok cuz the whole team is confused as to what pronoun to use. I can't wait to read your next chapter. Keep up the good work.
