Hello there, this is my first time reviewing a fic, but I've read a ton of Loki fiction (mostly tony/Loki) and I think that you have created the best depiction of his personality by far. This is what Loki should be like, conniving, devious, resourceful, manipulative, and dangerous even without his magic. His motives are believable and well thought out.

Your depictions of Pepper and Romanoff are quite excellent as well, but the other characters feel a bit underdeveloped, especially Tony Stark (although I do really appreciate his distrust of Loki since so many others write him as immediately Stockholm Syndrome style empathizing with Loki).

I am really sad to see that this series seems to have died, because is one of the best I have ever read. In fact I have no idea if you even still write anything but if this reaches you I hope you will someday pick this back up as it is a lovely piece of writing and deserves to be finished. Thank you.

Please update! I love how in-character they all are, not to mention that the writing is excellent!

Nice story! I like your depiction of the characters and how they interact. You also struck a nice balance between description and action.

Now, whichever of the two is to follow in the next chapter, I can't wait to read it. Thor is apparently about to arrive, so that should be interesting. Also, I'm really curious to see what becomes of the whole Loki/Hammer situation.

Okay, so I've only read to this chapter so far, but I'm liking it and I intend to read further. Just wanted to say that I particularly liked some of your expressions here.

"The world presented itself by degrees in shades of grey and black. A white glare overhead met the harsh corners of the walls around him, casting shadows long and deep. The scattered breaks in his vision turned out not to be physiological, but mere rain."

Although I went into this chapter skimming, these sentences caught my attention and I had to reread them. Most pleasant. This chapter was most enjoyable, especially with Loki's thought-commentary. I also find Loki's injury interesting, as most authors go straight to his aching ribs and ignore other health problems.

I'll be reading the rest of this hopefully tonight. Thank you for the good story so far!

Side note, in the first chapter, I think you wrote 'civ' when you intended to write 'sieve.'

Strangely, I really like how you write Hammer. He's really not in a lot of stories and he seemed more like an idiot in the movie. Maybe I just like the way you write. :) I'm glad to see this continued.
