Gagh what a place to end this. I love this dark world you have created. It feels a little to insular because ok, say they kill voldie for good. The world is a fucked up place now where every good person is dead. But I think you are heading into the direction of letting the marauders, hopefully all of them because I love them so, go back with Harry to his world. I like that you have Ron and Hermione waiting for him. I also adore your nearly crazy Sirius. He was always a bit broken and now he's a bit more. But he is still that stubborn, courageous fool we all know and love. I would argue that your meanings for the title in the beginning, that hemlock matches Sirius much more than James. Yeah James dies, but I think Harry at least, in canon and in this story, can and do go willingly towards death because of him. Great story. Even if you never come back to it, I'll remember this one.

I haven't reviewed for a long time! I've had a kind of break from ff for a year or so. This is an awesome fic, and continues to be awesome to this day! I know you don't like fluff, but I will absolutely die if it's too sad - that's how connected to the characters I am. Hope you update soon!

I need to know what happens next. Please, please write another chapter soon! I loved reading this and I especially enjoy the interaction between Sirius and Harry as well as Remus and James. It's a little ironic that the entire world is holding it's breath for another Potter, waiting to be saved, praying, hoping, placing everything on another's shoulders. Those poor Potter men, can never seem to catch a break. Sirius is masterful, intense, scary as hell, and more than a little unhinged. It works. James is strong and leads with a precision I like, he shoulders the burdens without a complaint. It makes me smile sadly and reminds me quite a lot of Harry. Remus is mothering, gently fierce, compassionate and it makes me cry. And poor, poor Harry is just as conflicted, as purely good and tragically heroic as in the books. It's almost like I can see and believe in these characters. You are amazing.

The flashbacks were very confusing but you may have been aiming for that. Ron should not read Harry's book but Hermione shouldn't have shown it to him. Of course **I** want to read it! ;)

Still love this story even though it's so dark. Great descriptions/details and surprised at how less insane/ more intelligent this Voldemort seems.

Great chapter- I can't believe they all survived so far. Interesting having Sirius bit but not by a fully changed werewolf. So glad you are still writing!
